Recent Status: An immigrant species that established breeding populations in Suffolk during the 2010s.

Life Style: A single brooded species that flies during July, August, September and October and comes to light. The larvae feed inside nuts of Quercus, Jugulans and Castanea.

Identification: A large Cydia species that is easily recognised.

Recorded in 26 (45%) of 58 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 2004.
